We recently asked some heavy-duty users of our IoT/M2M remote monitoring systems what they felt made the CDL SmartHub so special for managing their remote assets?
Not surprisingly for such a feature rich environment there were a lot of thoughts – but there were a few recurring themes that people repeatedly focused in on:

- Charts and charting – that they are automatic, with pan and zoom, and easy to use date range slection eg “last week”, can be sent as pictures and raw data can be extracted in csv files
- Mapping is automatic to put a pin marker on a map but can also be refined with manual input or uploads from smartphone positions or be dragged and dropped, and of course the View Generator featured in the video clip above
- Telephone Support, with immediate access to the people who designed and built the system
