The end of last year saw major changes within the Caption Data team, long term employee Claire Bull worked her last day as Office Manager to fulfil her dreams of managing her own drinking establishment.
Following a strong recruitment campaign, and many interviews later we employed Lucy Udale-Forrester.
Lucy’s experience of the sales and administration process, and her knowledge of business management made her an ideal candidate. Lucy went on to win the team over with her award winning smile.
As one of the most recently joined members of the team, we saw it only right that Lucy became the guinea pig in a new series of Meet the Team articles.
Lucy tell us more about your background….
“For 3 years before joining Caption Data I worked at OGL Computer Services Group as a Sales Administrator, this helped me gain a firm understanding of sales processes, customer relationship management and opened my eyes to the world of technology.
“I previously studied at the University of Worcester and obtained a 2:1 BA honours degree in Business Management, during which time I also studied Spanish!”
Hold on. Did someone say Spanish? Does this mean we can expect left over Paella?
“I love cooking – particularly experimenting with new Spanish and Mexican recipes, and who knows….. maybe there will be some leftovers from time to time.
“Out of working hours, I also enjoy spending time on home improvements and craft making.”
There we have it. Lucy cooks Spanish food. What more do we need to know?
“Within my role as Office Manager and Sales Administrator each and every day offers variety and challenge. Tasks range from stock management, purchasing, and managing the sales process to liaising with customers and suppliers, to ensure our customer expectations are being met.”

“Caption Data is a friendly and professional place to work, everyone is passionate about the business and no one is afraid to get stuck in – apart from when it’s the boys turn to make a drinks round!”

*Laughs* “Of course I do. Everyone has been so welcoming since starting at Caption Data. I work in a small, friendly team all of whom work together to ensure that everything runs smoothly.”
